{ Review + GIveaway } Za Total Hydration Cleanser

Hello ! Hello ! Hello !

Tells you how excited the festive season makes me. The slight nip in the air, the possibility of wearing boots and winterwear and enjoying a movie under the quilt with a Hot soup- Are all good things this season is made of!

Also, the season, when your skincare needs change with the dry weather. Today in my kitty is the Vogue 2015 Beauty Award winner. The Za Total Hydration Cleanser with Vitamin E. I am lucky to have been introduced to the Za range of skincare. Finally a brand that caters to the skincare needs of Indians. The Total hydration range was launched 2 months ago, and I can't tell you how excited that made me! I already swear by the Total Hydration Amino Mineral Refreshing Gel. If you have an oily skin- don't wait to grab this! And now for this cleanser, here are my views:

Form: This is a foamy cleanser- Remember your dad's shaving cream? ;) Yes, exactly that. It has a fresh citrusy fragrance which again reminds me of dad's shaving cream :D It also has cleansing granules, though I never understood how the products with granules are different, because most of the times, we might just wash away the granules without crushing them!

How to Use: Squeeze half-pea sized amount onto your palm. Lather and massage on the face. A little quantity goes a long way so don't be greedy! Wash off in seconds, don't keep it for more than a minute .


First Impressions: After the first wash, the face felt squeaky clean. Scary because, this means it can be drying on my face! But I waited a while, and realised it didn't dry my face at all. I have a combination skin. So I tend to have dry cheeks . This cleanser was able to strike the balance on a combination skin. The fragrance makes you smell like fresh lemons. Have you secretly admired that fragrance when your dad just did a shave !!! Then , this cleanser delivers that exact one!

This also means, its the perfect unisex cleanser. If you have an oily/combination skin, you can surely end up liking this cleanser because it leaves you so FRESh! As for dry skin, I would wait for one of you to tell me how you felt.

For most of you who follow me on my Twitter/Insta handles know that I have revived my childhood hobby of painting . I am sharpening my skills and it gives me immense fulfillment!  I am painting botanicals, and since this cleanser reminded me of Fresh lemons, I painted this cleanser too! See the picture below :)

The Cannes fairy-dust is spreading like magic as dreamy-eyed girls like you and me are glued to our computer /mobile screens in anticipation of RED CARPET glamor at this year's Cannes Film Festival . Za Cleansing Foam REVIEW + {GIVEAWAY}[CLOSED]

I was bowled over by the ZA Perfect solution Restoring Collagen cream as you read in my review here.

I was naturally curious to try the entire PERFECT SOLUTION range. This foam comes with the same fuschia packaging which is so beautiful and catchy; now lets see if the product inside was impressive!

How to Use

Squeeze a small amount onto your palm and add warm water to create foam. Massage gently over face in circular motion. Rinse thoroughly.

My experience

A small pea-sized amount is required to wash the face. It is a cream-based foaming facewash . Personally, I find foaming face washes very drying even for my oily skin as its important to keep the face hydrated and moisturised even if its oily. This face wash left my skin feeling fresh and clean however I felt it was drying my skin. I immediately felt the need to use a moisturiser . I therefore opened the Global ZA website and found out the usage. As you can see in the image below, the usage is face wash followed by toner and the moisturiser ,sealed with the collagen cream. I luckily had the moisturiser which is Elle Beauty awards winner for 2014. After that I felt my skin was finally feeling good. So , for me this delicately scented face wash will work only if I follow it with a moisturiser or else it is mildly drying. I have seen other people with just the opposite opinion however, you can only try it yourself to judge if it works for you. As for the anti-ageing bit, I strongly feel the Za collagen cream is my best friend and I could live solely on that. About the face wash's effectiveness to fight the anti-ageing process we might have to stick to the 4 step process to know the real results. 

The 100 ml tube will last a good 3 months with an extensive usage (Ideally twice a day is enough).  This face wash is part of the Perfect solution range and the recommended usage as per Za's global website is explained in the image below. I will advise trying the face wash followed by a moisturiser.

I ordered the Classic Canterbury lady ( Red/blue/white NATO strap) and then I changed it into Classic St.Andrews with the strap in 2 mins!
The NATO straps in nylon are inspired from the British navy and each strap created by Daniel Wellington has something to do with the British Isles. Just read their names!

I was pleasantly surprised by their dual nature,yes, the Classic Lady series looks perfectly fine on men's wrists too. How awesome is that!

When I hit the buy button on an e-commerce website for this magic potion, I had my fingers crossed.

Little did I know this unplanned purchase would become a MUST-HAVE product on my bath shelf.

And now I bring to you this wonderful recipe from nyah- nyah Woody sandalwood face and bath gel.

One sniff and this wonder from nyah transfers you to an exotic sandalwood forest minus the fear of the likes of Veerappan! Jokes apart, nyah bath gel is a delight and with the most authentic ayurvedic formulation  enchants you with its fragrance.

The moment it touches your skin, you know you’ve never felt nature this close before!

Ofcourse you know I am sharing this as I am totally in awe of nYah skincare. I believe in nYah’s  philosophy of applying traditional ayurveda in skincare using the most exotic and pure ingredients.

This is one of those products which refuse to go off your bathroom shelf and quickly graces the shelves iof your family and friends!

 Perhaps I would replace this only with another variant from nYah. Eyeing the Lavendar & Ylang ylang bath gel next!
