Tells you how excited the festive season makes me. The slight nip in the air, the possibility of wearing boots and winterwear and enjoying a movie under the quilt with a Hot soup- Are all good things this season is made of!

Also, the season, when your skincare needs change with the dry weather. Today in my kitty is the Vogue 2015 Beauty Award winner. The Za Total Hydration Cleanser with Vitamin E. I am lucky to have been introduced to the Za range of skincare. Finally a brand that caters to the skincare needs of Indians. The Total hydration range was launched 2 months ago, and I can't tell you how excited that made me! I already swear by the Total Hydration Amino Mineral Refreshing Gel. If you have an oily skin- don't wait to grab this! And now for this cleanser, here are my views:

Form: This is a foamy cleanser- Remember your dad's shaving cream? ;) Yes, exactly that. It has a fresh citrusy fragrance which again reminds me of dad's shaving cream :D It also has cleansing granules, though I never understood how the products with granules are different, because most of the times, we might just wash away the granules without crushing them!

How to Use: Squeeze half-pea sized amount onto your palm. Lather and massage on the face. A little quantity goes a long way so don't be greedy! Wash off in seconds, don't keep it for more than a minute .


First Impressions: After the first wash, the face felt squeaky clean. Scary because, this means it can be drying on my face! But I waited a while, and realised it didn't dry my face at all. I have a combination skin. So I tend to have dry cheeks . This cleanser was able to strike the balance on a combination skin. The fragrance makes you smell like fresh lemons. Have you secretly admired that fragrance when your dad just did a shave !!! Then , this cleanser delivers that exact one!

This also means, its the perfect unisex cleanser. If you have an oily/combination skin, you can surely end up liking this cleanser because it leaves you so FRESh! As for dry skin, I would wait for one of you to tell me how you felt.

For most of you who follow me on my Twitter/Insta handles know that I have revived my childhood hobby of painting . I am sharpening my skills and it gives me immense fulfillment!  I am painting botanicals, and since this cleanser reminded me of Fresh lemons, I painted this cleanser too! See the picture below :)

Not only is it within the reach of the consumer with a mindful pocket, its as effective as any luxury cosmetic treatment. The serum dropped in last month and I was already very happy with the Perfect solution moisturizer, I kept this waiting till July! Moreover, anything that reads "whitening" tends to put me off. I wouldn't have tried it if I hadn't read about the reason behind "whitening". Well,they are referring to the control in melanin production which this serum has. Also, skin clarity improves giving the impression of whitening. At the end of the day, I would love if the product rids me off pigmentation, but yes without the word"whitening". Its been 10 days I am using this. Lets see if this impresses!

*My Experience*

For once I did not read the application instructions. I applied the serum without the toner and the moisturiser and only once in a day. The serum is translucent with a runny consistency much like the perfect solution moisturiser. I like the pump and the fact that the bottle is travel friendly.

After 10 days of use, I could see a visible difference in my skin clarity,exactly like the brand promises. You know when a brand lives up to the claims, you gain confidence not just in the product but yourself ! I used to apply a BB-cream for acne scars and in 10 days, with just 1 application, the need for hiding the scars diminished, with the diminishing marks. My only concern was "retino" as the chemical retinol which is a derivative of Vitamin A and a common component of Acne creams, is something that makes my skin slightly breakout. I do believe I got a breakout or two due to the same or maybe it was the humid rainy weather in Bombay. Only time will tell. As of today, I am going to start using it twice a day and will be really excited to share results after 15 days with a detailed review.

My thoughts:

I will be crisp and clear- I like this foundation . Here are my top 5 reasons why:

1. Varying coverage depending on wet or dry application ensures you always have even looking skin
2. Besides coverage, the benefits of SPF 20 & Vit.C saves you from the Sun & excess melanin.
3. The foundation case esp personalised , is a thing of beauty!
4. Its reasonable as the cake costs Rs.550 & the case at Rs.400 is a one time purchase!
5. Suits my dusky skin without looking cakey. It looks very natural after application.


Few TIPS:

1. Use wet application to get better coverage.
2. Always sanitize the sponge after use.
3. This makes for a wonderful gift, so don't forget to make the ladies in the house happy ;)

CONS?

1. The fact that it has 4 shades is a bit of a downer. Though after all the bloggers met and we each had 1 shade that suited us, it was for sure that these 4 shades are adaptable. Also the fact that they are suited to the Indian complexion, was proved when more than 15 people with different skin-tones used it. So my advise will be to visit the Za counter and get your perfect recommendation.

2. Availability is always something with ZA as its a brand with its presence in big cities. But then once you find your shade, you can always refill online!

I was bowled over by the ZA Perfect solution Restoring Collagen cream as you read in my review here.

I was naturally curious to try the entire PERFECT SOLUTION range. This foam comes with the same fuschia packaging which is so beautiful and catchy; now lets see if the product inside was impressive!

My experience

A small pea-sized amount is required to wash the face. It is a cream-based foaming facewash . Personally, I find foaming face washes very drying even for my oily skin as its important to keep the face hydrated and moisturised even if its oily. This face wash left my skin feeling fresh and clean however I felt it was drying my skin. I immediately felt the need to use a moisturiser . I therefore opened the Global ZA website and found out the usage. As you can see in the image below, the usage is face wash followed by toner and the moisturiser ,sealed with the collagen cream. I luckily had the moisturiser which is Elle Beauty awards winner for 2014. After that I felt my skin was finally feeling good. So , for me this delicately scented face wash will work only if I follow it with a moisturiser or else it is mildly drying. I have seen other people with just the opposite opinion however, you can only try it yourself to judge if it works for you. As for the anti-ageing bit, I strongly feel the Za collagen cream is my best friend and I could live solely on that. About the face wash's effectiveness to fight the anti-ageing process we might have to stick to the 4 step process to know the real results. 

The 100 ml tube will last a good 3 months with an extensive usage (Ideally twice a day is enough).  This face wash is part of the Perfect solution range and the recommended usage as per Za's global website is explained in the image below. I will advise trying the face wash followed by a moisturiser.

Now, its time for me to reveal my Secret to a healthy skin. I have an OILY, ACNE-prone in short- TROUBLED skin! This magic tube lathers like crazy in smallest amounts. It has small granules which also exfoliate gently, while removing the dirt .It doesn't dry your face and your face feels very clean. Perfect cleanser for that oily skin!

The toner is suited for both day/night use. My skin feels hydrated after applying this toner. It absorbs beautifully.

3. Za True white night cream(40 gm)
