The media is abuzz with all things beautiful, all things Aish ever since she made the most stunning red-carpet appearances of all times!
What prompts me to bring this post today is the fact that if you know your plus points you can create that magical look. So knowing your brighter side is just the trick!
Let's have a look at why Aishwarya's Cannes 2014 look was a hit:
THEME: Mermaid
Mermaids are the most mysterious characters in the land of fantasy, often considered supremely beautiful and feminine. A curvaceous figure , flowy tresses and delicate facial features sums up the perfect mermaid in folklore. I'm Aishwarya just crossed your mind .
1. Dress: She chose the mermaid gown from Roberto Cavalli which hugged her newly sculpted hourglass figure like a dream . I cannot imagine anyone else carrying this dress with such elegance.
2. Hair: Going with the theme, Aishwarya let her shiny black hair open with her signature middle parting and soft curls that always make her look Diva-like. The hair-style did maximum justice to the mermaid theme as it went with our image of a goddess-like creature swimming in the sea. Goddess ,because even the dress is golden that makes her look like one!
3. Makeup: Nude lips , which is her signature style, could have easily been used here as well. Instead , the traditional bold Red was chosen. The eyes opened up with fiercely defined black brows and mascara.The only colors in this look were her red lips and red nailcolor. The look is bold and one to remember because of the bold eyes & lips and the color RED! Bold brows are the way to go this season!
4. Accessories: Another trick to make this look close to that of a mermaid was simplicity. Accessories were given a complete miss except the golden statement ring in one hand and a simple golden bangle on the other. She just became the perfect interpretation of that mysterious woman near the sea-shore!
