You have known my obsession for long hair ever since the blog started. My lab is always abundant with shampoos from all over the globe which claim to be the best.I have been using them up and still waiting to find the best. And then this happened.

Love Long Hair walked into my mailbox almost as if by magic. Two bottles. Plain white. No fancy labels. No ingredient labels. Just- LOVE LONG HAIR. So what do we call it? Ofcourse, the LOVE LONG HAIR range. Yes, I totally love long hair ! This is the first time I will be experimenting with a shampoo/conditioner who's brand name will be revealed only after I have had 12 washes! People have warned me. They say beware. But I can tell you one thing. The brand must really be confident to do something like this. And I can't wait to let their confidence show in my hair. My long hair ! So Stay tuned. I will be back after the 1st two washes :)

The Sunday Brunch

The week rushes by at lightening speed when things go right. On other days, I pray hard it passes as quick. Like you ,even I put all my high hopes on Saturday and Sunday. For most of us, even Saturdays are reserved for the good ol' office.And then comes the universal lazy day - Sunday.

During mid-week , we plan about how we must go on a Sunday Brunch at city's lesser known cafes. South Bombay to be precise. Every Friday night, the eyes close with a dream to relish that much awaited Sunday Brunch. Then , the phone beeps. Whatsapp showers begin. Sunday at the beach? Sunday at our place? Sunday at the theatre? Sunday for that pop-up shop? And then my maid breaks the hailstorms in my mind with -Didi, x,y,z is over. Veggies need refill. Then I hear a crack, Holy Cow! Whats wrong with the fan? It stopped working! Oh and look, the blackberry - Reminder from the Boss. Be prepared for monday! Reminder from PR- When does the blog-post go live?

And its only in my Friday dreams, where I always meet ,The Sunday Brunch.

Beach Behavior: Shall we Play?

We continue the Beach waves with our second edition featuring the ever-playful - PLAYSUITS. The petite version of jumpsuits, these are a go-to option for the girl who loves to be fun and practical at the same time. Except that washroom visits could be a concern if they are button-downs. If you wear playsuits on a long day-trip, its best to choose the flowy kinds with elasticated necklines, so they are easier to get-in and get-off. Lost in Palettes

I had a colorful Valentine's eve this year, thanks to Inglot. Amidst popping shades of vermilion, orchids and chocolate I was drowning in all the happiness that surrounded me.Happiness , you ask?Colors make me happy, and when its cosmetics , I go wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! On the eve of February the 14th, I found myself doing what I love doing the best: Experimenting with lip colors on my friend Amena. We naturally end up choosing each other for such challenges and Boy! We did win! The fuschia lips done by her on me won the prize! I totally loved doing the ombre effect on her naturally pink lips which will be any make-up artist's dream! Inglot lipcolors spoil you for choices. The only tough thing is they don't have names but numbers to identify them. You will literally identify their shades by oh that 4th lightest shade in vermilion...What was that?

Sorry for the long wait but before you made your beach-vacation plans ,here I am with the post
on beachwear. Our very own land , our very own crazy GOA . I have been here thrice this year
after I broke the jinx of umpteen failed plans & visited Goa for the first time in Feb 2013! I have
fallen in love with this trance-nation and there is no coming back!

If you are in India & you are in Goa, you can definitely go bold with a bikini .Especially in North
Goa, where you find more foreigners than Indians. However the safest stylish beachwear on the
Indian shores are Kaftans, shorts & sun-dresses .

Here is a break-up of what I am wearing. Except the flip-flops all items I wore are shown here.
These are my 3 favorite trends which will never go wrong on a beach.Try them and tell me how they work for you!

1. NEONS

Overly used and worn since 2013 , neons look amazing in beach-wear including swimwear. Its because the sunlight does special mercy on neons at the beaches.

2. GO CHUNKY

For a carefree movement,its better to go accessory-free on beaches however, if you would like to spruce up your photos stick to chunky floral headbands, bandanas and chunky handcuffs or neck-pieces.

3. FLOWY

A beach represents fluidity, grace and infinity. Become one with the elements by embracing all those flowy garments : Kaftans, maxi dresses & sun-dresses.
