{EDITORIAL} Lace is more

In the middle of a confused weather- the sunny sun blazing at hyper heat & droplets falling with doubt- the monsoon season has me delighted ! Not that i have lost my mind due to the humidity levels, but I can't be happier as I can still shoot in this weather and bring you these posts!  Remember last season?  I couldn't shoot for 2 straight months thanks to the rains and a cloudy sky. Ofcourse , rains are important and it better start raining regularly , but I couldn't thank the weather lord enough this weekend. Fashion bloggers are like those chipmunks who collect their food in autumn to be eaten in the winters. We shoot non-stop in the summers , before the rains set in because you never know how often you will get to shoot in monsoons!

And this is exactly why this post is preceding the promised posts from Manali and Kasol- the excitement of a monsoon shoot gone right!

When the sweet people at VIPME sent me their links to choose the dresses for this post , I was spoilt for choices just like last time. They have the best selection in dresses be it any silhouette you've ever imagined. I am all for solid colours and ruffles.  And now, VIPME is merging with the biggest flash sale partner VIP.com . So use this link- VIP to check the fabulous collection! The link of my dress is also below so that you can buy it if you like it!

My Lace dress from VIP- > See here.

Dress- VIP | Neckpiece- Promod | Leather Sling- Dharavi market | Heels- Charles & Keith

I don't have a tendency to buy lace, I think the ruffles got me here and I chose this dress! I couldn't have thought of a better fit /color/design with an online pick! The asymmetrical hemline , the way the ruffles fall around my elbow and the bottom- it looks so feminine and elegant . This dress is INSTANT dressy and you don't need any accessories to up the ante. I would've skipped the neckpiece too if it wasn't for my black spiked stilettos from my secret sale. They are the best stilettos I own- and though they hurt, they've all my heart!

Since their sizes are Asian, they are a size small as compared to the Indian size chart. So here , I am wearing a SIZE L , which is equivalent to SIZE S/M- UK 10. Just keep this in mind when you order.
In flat 15 days the package was here in Bombay, sent via DHL - no customs . Totally love my second experience with VIP . There is another dress that I wore in Kasol, and that will go live next! Till then, enjoy the VIP experience and tell me what you got! Also, I would love to see the links of your favourites from VIP, there are endless options and one tends to miss out .

Till next time, sooner, CIAO!
