The Road less travelled

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.
 -Robert Frost

I live by this principle. I have reached a stage where I constantly turn down the "done and dusted". "New" is my favorite word. Something that one has never experienced, instantly catches my attention. Its the curiosity to be different. And different need not be "disconnected" .

As far as my sartorial choices go, I tend to love traditionally inspired silhouettes with a twist of modern. Especially during summers ,I prefer airy bottoms - loose, flowy : inspired by the Indian pajamas. Give them a bohemian twist & you have- "Palazzos"the next best choice.

"Melange" - the ethnic brand from Lifestyle stores created the looks for Deepika Padukone in PIKU. The collection was simple and very very fitting for the "girl-next-door". But how can the eyes miss the strikingly experimental collection at Melange this summer! Flowy Palazzos, Floral Patialas, Printed pants, Printed Churidars and this is just the "bottoms" list. Tassled printed Dupattas, jackets and "statement" versatile accessories have made the  Melange collection all the more desirable. Their kurtas have always been fabulous with a very bohemian vibe. As you can see, I can't have enough of their collection. Infact I have bought 1 more palazzo today. Whats your pick?

Outfit 1: Orange Kurta.Palazzo pant, jacket, earrings- All Melange
Outfit 2: White short kurta (tucked in ), Palazzo pant, jacket, earrings, neck-piece- Melange
Bangles- Only,Colaba
Wedge peeptoes- Charles & Keith

And, here's a little glimpse of the launch event of this collection with Piku - Deepika Padukone & look what else they have in store!!! Tempted much?

Till next time, Stay unique . Stay stylish!
Love,
Ila
