My experience
___________

A small pea-sized amount is required to wash the face. It is a cream-based foaming facewash . Personally, I find foaming face washes very drying even for my oily skin as its important to keep the face hydrated and moisturised even if its oily. This face wash left my skin feeling fresh and clean however I felt it was drying my skin. I immediately felt the need to use a moisturiser . I therefore opened the Global ZA website and found out the usage. As you can see in the image below, the usage is face wash followed by toner and the moisturiser ,sealed with the collagen cream. I luckily had the moisturiser which is Elle Beauty awards winner for 2014. After that I felt my skin was finally feeling good. So , for me this delicately scented face wash will work only if I follow it with a moisturiser or else it is mildly drying. I have seen other people with just the opposite opinion however, you can only try it yourself to judge if it works for you. As for the anti-ageing bit, I strongly feel the Za collagen cream is my best friend and I could live solely on that. About the face wash's effectiveness to fight the anti-ageing process we might have to stick to the 4 step process to know the real results.
The 100 ml tube will last a good 3 months with an extensive usage (Ideally twice a day is enough).  This face wash is part of the Perfect solution range and the recommended usage as per Za's global website is explained in the image below. I will advise trying the face wash followed by a moisturiser.

Monsoon party with Jean Claude Biguine Paris

“I think that the most important thing a woman can have- next to talent, of course- is her hairdresser.”
― Joan Crawford

I had the most wonderful monsoon I must say. A trip to Lonavala with the family( pictures coming soon) and the other weekend a Monsoon party at Jean Claude Biguine ! Monsoon party at the Parisian salon? Being the owner of the most mis-behaved skin and hair put this proposition almost like a blessing in disguise! My friend tells me I am the most well-informed hair-care product user. But then, my knowledge was limited to all the chemicals one should avoid - right from SLES, parabens, silicones ,Pthalates, Formaldehyde and the list goes on! JCB to my pleasant surprise has the most practical stylists I have ever met. He pointed to a brush and said- This is the most Monsoon Un-friendly product to use! Use only a Wide-toothed comb. Yes, the same comb that one should use to de-tangle hair. Point noted. I showed him my fine toothed comb and he almost gave me a REJECTED look. Fine toothed combs cause tension in the hair and can lead to split-ends.Tail combs can be used but only for back-combing to get that Amy Winehouse-y look !Oh- yes, don't forget to use the very light hair-spray from L'oreal - Elnette to set your hair. It didn't harm my hair at all.I sure am buying one! Another tip was that the scalp needs to be dry whenever we shampoo and step out. If the scalp is dry, we can prevent dandruff. Not a very makeup person , i decided to use the services of their make-up artist some other time. As for now I am happily dancing with joy - loved what they did to my hair and looking forward to a mani/pedi with them soon! So glad Rhea from Fuss hosted this for us bloggers! Hope to get back here soon. Its good to love oneself right!

New Pinch: My tomato-red leather bag is from Dharavi and the red leather pumps from TASHI. Another new piece is the neckpiece from the newly opened FOREVER 21 store. The striped dress is from OVS and the white bolero from Guanzhou,China :)

Review: Moroccan OIl Treatment

No parabens.Check.No SLES.Check.No Silicones.Check.My love affair with product ingredient lists began when i was reading extensively about fighting hairfall.I realised how much waste we dump in our hair with all the fancy shampoos that flood the markets .Armed with a list of -NOT GOOD- ingredients which are not recommended for hair products I went on a frantic search to find my ideal shampoo.A german brand Dr.Hauschka (Nasturtium and Lemon Shampoo for normal to oily hair)was the answer.I felt blessed and then it got discontinued! All good things come to an end?

Antonio Calero, Artistic Director, Moroccan Oil
Recently, I got a chance to meet Antonio Calero , artistic director(Moroccan Oil).I instantly fell in love! Ah yes, the charming Antonio from Barcelona- made me fall in love with Moroccan Oil as much as with himself ;)From Runways to spas, Moroccan Oil products have made their way into every girl's heart through word of mouth. On my To-be-reviewed list is the Hydrating shampoo from Moroccan Oil.

3 looks created using Moroccan Oil products

Meet Moroccan Oil treatment

Though Moroccan Oil has umpteen products to take care for & style every type of hair, the product I tried is one of their best-sellers- THE MOROCCAN OIL TREATMENT.When the smiling lady from Moroccan Oil smoothed the product onto my hair, I couldn't help take my hands off my hair. Like I discovered a feeling never experienced before! DO NOT confuse this with an hair oil. This is a styling product which smooths out your hair. You get frizz-free hair instantly with an addictive fragrance that lingers all day long!

And then my inquisitive eyes went on to the Ingredient list.Ofcourse the famous Argan Oil is on the list. The entire hair-community raves about this magical oil.And the fragrance is crazy amazing. But there are other ingredients too.

Silicones. A conformist me, decided to rate this gorgeous product from 5/5 to a 4/5. I believe my scientist brethren and hence the -1.Yes, silicones fight frizz if that is what bothers most of us.But Silicones if used on scalp cause build-up & lead to hairfall. The Good news? This treatment is only for the hair below the scalp. So you can still relax and style your hair to glory albeit at a price you would definitely want to think twice! However, this is one of those exceptional Silicone products which absorbs beautifully into the hair strands instead of weighing them down!
Coming up next , is my review on their hydrating shampoo & Conditioner.
